A Dairy Wonderful Life

My favorite holiday tradition is watching It’s a Wonderful Life every Christmas Eve with my family. I love that movie, every year it never fails to make you happy-cry. The movie reminds us that no matter how hard life may be right now, we need to remember the things that really matter. We may not realize it, but we make some sort of impact on everyone we meet and may even be a reason for their happiness (or existence)!

“Strange, isn’t it? Each man’s life touches so many other lives. When he isn’t around, he leaves an awful hole, doesn’t he?”

This is where my little sister comes in. Without her, we’d have an awful, empty hole… no one to take care of the snacks while we’re watching the movie! Not only is she a fitness guru on Instagram (@dairygirlfitness), she’s first and foremost, a snack boss. She’ll make sure we have ice cream, cookies, cheese dip, a cheese ball with crackers, you name it. Basically, if it involves dairy, we dig it.

However, one snack does top the rest. My family invented the original ‘cheese board’ before they were cool and elaborate. It included cheese, pickles, veggies and a dairy delicious dip. Lucky for you, she’s letting me share her dip recipe with you!

“Dear George, remember no man is a failure who has friends. Thanks for the wings, Love Clarence.”

Well said, Clarence Oddbody. If you’re surrounded by friends, family and tasty snacks, what more do you really need this holiday season?

Merry Christmas!
